These bullfighters or caliphs, reigned in the world of bullfighting for many years, leaving their mark on history and contributing their skills and art characteristic of each caliph. <\/p>\n<h2>Who are the five Caliphs of Cordoba?<\/h2>\n<p>The five bullfighters caliphs of Cordoba are:<strong> Lagartijo, Guerrita, Machaquito, Manolete, and El Cordob\u00e9s<\/strong>. For almost 12 years he competed with his master and other bullfighters of great level, making a total of 892 bullfights. He faced some of the greatest bulls, making him the last representative of the most primitive bullfighting. This made him one of the symbols of bullfighting.
